Comparison
The Paperform alternative for forms that go more than one place
Paperform's plans meter submissions per year with paid add-on packs when you exceed them. WebForms plans meter submissions per month, and every plan includes unlimited forms.
Paperform is one of the more feature-dense form builders in this category: e-commerce with subscriptions and coupons, custom PDFs, appointment booking, and calculation fields sit alongside the usual form basics, all built in a document-style editor that reads more like writing a page than filling in a form-builder's field list.
The pricing metric worth noting is that submissions are counted per year rather than per month, with per-additional-unit add-on pricing once you exceed the included amount (Essentials includes 1,200/year, plus $7.50/month per extra 3,000, capped at 9,000 more). Webhooks and standard API access are gated to the Pro tier and above, and there is no conditional routing between destinations.
WebForms does not build the form or handle payments - Paperform's editor and e-commerce tooling are a different, more complete product for that specific job. What we add on top of a form you already have is multi-destination fan-out, conditional routing, and a delivery log, priced by monthly rather than yearly submissions.
When to stay with Paperform
Switching has a real cost. These are the cases where we would not bother.
- You want e-commerce - product sales, subscriptions, coupons, tax calculation - built directly into the form, which is a real and complete Paperform feature.
- You want appointment/booking fields and custom PDF generation from a submission, both native to their editor.
- You prefer a document-style form-building experience over a traditional field-by-field builder.

Moving from Paperform
Decide what you actually need
If you rely on Paperform's e-commerce, booking or PDF features, keep it and route its webhook output into WebForms for extra destinations. If it is a simple form, rebuild it as plain HTML.
Export your submissions
Download your submission history from Paperform before changing anything.
Point your form (or Paperform's webhook) at your endpoint
A plain HTML form's action attribute, or Paperform's own webhook integration (Pro tier and above), both work as a source for WebForms.
Add destinations and routing
Configure email, Slack, Discord, Telegram or a webhook, and add routing rules if different answers should go to different places.
Try it without deciding anything
The free plan includes 300 submissions a month, unlimited forms, email delivery, stored submissions and spam filtering, with no card required and no expiry. Point one form at it and keep Paperform running on the others until you are convinced.
Questions
Not for the builder or e-commerce. Paperform's document-style editor, payments and booking fields are a different, more complete product for that job. WebForms replaces the backend: storage, notifications, routing and a delivery log.
Yes, on the Pro tier and above. Point Paperform's webhook at a WebForms endpoint to add Discord, Telegram, conditional routing and a delivery log.
Their quota is yearly with paid add-on packs past it, rather than a monthly reset. Check your actual yearly volume against the plan, not just the monthly-equivalent headline number.
No. We are a backend only; payments, bookings and PDF generation are outside our scope.
