Every form backend, in one table

A form backend receives what your HTML form posts and does something useful with it. These are the services that do that as their main job. Form builders like Typeform and Google Forms are a different category and are not listed here.

Prices were copied from each service's own pricing page. The oldest figure here was checked on , so confirm the current price at the source before you decide.

ServiceFree tierCheapest paidBest atChecked
WebForms (this site)300 / month, email$5 / month (12,000 / month)Routing one submission to several destinations, with a delivery logLive
Formspree 50 / month$15 / month, 200 / month. $10 / month billed yearlyYou want native plugins for CRMs and helpdesks like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk or Gorgias. Formspree ships those; we would have you reach them through a webhook or an automation platform.
Web3Forms 250 / monthEUR 50 / year, 5,000 / month. Yearly only, for students and non-profitsYou do not want to manage an account. Web3Forms issues an access key to a verified email address, and that key in the markup is all a form needs.
Getform now Forminit100 / month$19 / month, 5,000 / month. $15.83 / month billed yearlyYou are already using their integrations and they cover everything you need. Migrating for its own sake is wasted effort.
Basin 50 / month$15 / month, 250 / month. $12.50 / month billed yearlyYou want an AI-generated microsite with hosting and a custom domain bundled into the same subscription as your form backend.
Formcarry 50 / month$5 / month, 500 / month. Billed annually only; no monthly option for this tierYou want to send from your own SMTP server rather than a shared sending domain, which Formcarry supports from its lowest paid tier.
Formspark 250 total$25 one-time, 50,000 total. Prepaid bundle, does not expire; buy another when spentYou want to pay once and be done, with no subscription to remember to cancel. Formspark's bundles do not expire.
FormBackend 50 / month$5 / month, 1,000 / month. $4.17 / month billed yearlyYou want a rules engine for custom email routing, which they offer starting at the Freelancer tier, one step above entry.
KwesForms 100 / month$19 / month, 1,000 / monthYou want a form-building toolkit, not just a backend. Their datepickers, multistep flows and repeater fields are real product surface we do not have.
Formkeep 50 / month$4.99 / month, 1,000 / month. 1 form included, $4.99 per additional formYou genuinely run one or two forms and never expect to add more. The per-form charge never applies to you.
Slapform 50 / month$5 / month, 500 / month. Plus $0.01 per submission over quota; $60 billed annuallyYour monthly submission count is small and predictable, low enough that the per-submission overage rate never actually triggers.
FormBucket None$19 / month, Unlimited. Single flat-rate plan after a 14-day free trial; no tiersYou want one flat unlimited price with nothing to think about beyond nineteen dollars a month.
FormSubmit Free, email onlyNo paid tierYou want the absolute minimum: no account, no dashboard, nothing to configure beyond an email address in the action attribute. No table
Netlify Forms Unlimited$9 / month, Unlimited. Netlify's paid hosting tier; forms are not metered separately from itYou already host on Netlify and want form handling with literally zero extra configuration: no endpoint, no signup, nothing but an HTML attribute.

"Best at" is the first thing each service does better than WebForms, taken from our comparison with it. Every comparison page lists the rest. Currencies are shown as each service quotes them.
