Formspree or Getform: plugins and payments, or volume and storage
Both store submissions and connect to other tools, so the choice comes down to what you need at the edges. Formspree has native CRM and helpdesk plugins and takes payments. Getform, renamed Forminit in January 2026, goes to a higher monthly volume on a single self-serve plan and includes file storage from its free plan up.

The difference that decides it
At the core these two are close: an endpoint per form, stored and exportable submissions, spam filtering with captcha support, webhooks and an API. Neither documents per-destination delivery attempts in detail. If your needs stop there, pick on price and on which dashboard you like.
They diverge at the edges. Formspree's plugin catalogue reaches Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk and Gorgias natively, it has a Stripe plugin, and it supports managing forms as code through a CLI. Forminit's top self-serve tier runs to 50,000 submissions a month, well past Formspree's largest, it includes file storage from its free plan up, and it has been operating since 2015.
Side by side

"Not a documented feature" means it is not in their published documentation as we read it, not that it can never be done. Check with them before ruling something out.
Which to choose
Choose Formspree if
Choose Formspree when submissions need to reach a CRM or helpdesk directly, when the form takes payments, or when you want forms defined in a config file and deployed through a CLI.
Choose Getform if
Choose Getform (Forminit) when monthly volume is high, when forms collect files, or when a long operating history matters for a procurement review.

A third option, honestly assessed
If neither the Stripe plugin nor 50,000 submissions a month is what you are after, the question becomes what happens after a submission arrives. On its paid plans WebForms routes on field values, so one form can send sales enquiries to one channel and support to another, and it logs every delivery attempt per destination. Both of these document less there.
