Framer form submissions in your inbox, on the free plan

Drop an embed or a small code component onto the canvas, point it at your endpoint, and submissions arrive by email with the visitor in Reply-To. Email delivery is included on the free plan, and every submission is also stored so a message that lands in spam is not gone.

Setting it up

  1. 01Add an Embed element

    The embed needs no code beyond pasting this. Style it to match with the embed's own CSS, or use a code component if you want Framer's styling controls.

    Embed element (HTML)
    <form action="https://send.webforms.to/wft_your_key" method="POST">
      <p hidden><input name="_gotcha" tabindex="-1" autocomplete="off"></p>
      <input name="name" required placeholder="Name">
      <input name="email" type="email" required placeholder="Email">
      <textarea name="message" required placeholder="Message"></textarea>
      <button type="submit">Send</button>
    </form>
  2. 02Add the recipient

    Add the address that should receive submissions to the form's email destination in the dashboard. It lives there, not in the markup, so nobody reading your page can change where mail goes.

What is different about Framer and Email

Reply goes to the visitor, and still passes SPF

Mail is sent from authenticated infrastructure with the visitor's address in Reply-To. Hitting reply reaches the person, without the self-built mistake of sending From their address, which fails SPF.

A stored copy of every submission

Each submission is stored and searchable for the plan's retention period, so a notification that lands in spam is never the only record that someone wrote in.

The full guides cover each side on its own: Framer setup and Email as a destination.
